John Cage Festival in Paris 2012
14 musicians, 3 actors, and an audience of 250 people participated in this multimedia collage event at the Eglise St. Merri in Paris. Taking advantage of the stunning gothic building, the festival used individual chapels for an architecturally-distributed performance, lasting 4 hours, and featured on FIP radio. Funded by  ticket sales, private donors, and Le Piano Ouvert.

Boeuf sur le Toit musical/theatrical show 2007-2012
An entertaining all-audiences look at Milhaud’s famous vaudeville score, with décor commissioned from artist and children’s-book illustrator Judith Bledsoe. Funded by the Flaneries Musicales de Reims, and ticket sales from performances around France.

One Minute More DVD 2009
Guy Livingston commissioned sixty composers to each write a one-minute piece for solo piano. The resulting sixty pieces are illustrated on this DVD by a team of filmmakers, who created sixty unique films based on the music. As a live performance, this show toured in 12 countries, on 4 continents. Funded by the Amsterdam Fund for the Arts, the NFPK Foundation, the TaxClip Foundation, Stamps Watches, and Timon Enterprise.

Trenton Antheil Festival 2003
In partnership with the Composers Guild of New Jersey, and under the direction of Guy Livingston and Frank Brickle, the Trenton Antheil Festival was the largest and most comprehensive assessment to-date of the impact of Antheil’s music and ideas. With 23 speakers, 12 performers, and over 600 attendees, the festival included lectures, concerts, and a techno dance night.

 

 

Additionally, Le Piano Ouvert presents a regular series of concerts in hospitals and other healthcare settings around Paris.
